A Beautiful Appearance

Published August 16, 2015 by Freedom Literature

Boy: Look how beautiful you are. You are so amazingly astonishing. Your lips are nicely                   plumped, your cheekbones are well defined, so are your eyes with long eyelashes that catch my attention. Your body is perfect, well proportioned up top, thinned out at the waist with a nice curve to follow like a coca cola bottle. Your legs are strong but still feminine like. You are perfect just as you are.

Girl: Thank you for all of your compliments, but my lips are nice and plumped thanks to a lip enhancer. Unfortunately my         eyelashes are not mine but I am glad you like them. My cheekbones, my “well proportioned top”, “thinned out waist and curve to follow”, as you so nicely put it, are all thanks to my plastic surgeon. I will let him know you appreciate his work. Now the legs are mine, I go to the gym from time to time.

Please do not misinterpret this post. I believe in women doing all the alterations to their bodies as they wish but just make sure you do it for the right reasons. Remember to love yourself first as you are and never change to please anyone else but yourself. Nobody deserves to have that power over you.

Women Crush Wednesday #WCW

The struggles she's had to endure have made her the successful person she is today.

The struggles she’s had to endure have made her the successful person she is today.

Today I dedicate Woman Crush Wednesday (#wcw) to my beautiful sister Lorna Mauras. Apart from the fact that she is smart, beautiful and ambitious, I admire her for the wonderful mother she is. My sister has faced incredible circumstances in her life, starting at a young age, but she has been able to convert those wounds, scars and hurtful memories to her advantage. She knows how to definitely find the positive in any negative situation. As a single mother of 3, she is always busy but never too busy to be there for others. She gives so much of herself to help out as much as she can, there is no telling her to sit down and stay still ;).

I thank God for the big sister He has blessed me with. Although like all siblings we have had our moments, I’m glad we have over come them & our bond has become stronger causing us to be inseparable.

I love you sissy, know that you are loved and appreciated for all you do. For all the time you take out of your day to be there for someone else, God is watching all you do and He is going to bless you abundantly.

Today is Wednesday and in the social media world its known for Woman Crush Wednesday #wcw. I decided to start using #wcw to honor woman that I admire and hold high regard for.

Today’s pick is First Lady Sandie Hickman Chapman. She is the wife of my Pastor Dr. Jeffery Chapman Sr. She is a dedicated, loving wife & mother of 3. I chose First Lady Chapman because she is someone I admire. Apart from the fact that she is absolutely beautiful and always looking on point, she is also a great woman of God. She is energetic, funny, sweet, lovable, positive, inspiring and truly a pleasure to be around.

I know the RNCC family agrees with me and we are blessed to have you as the First Lady & Leader for all the women at RNCC.
